When writing these notes I was flying through the English countryside, no I am not driving, I am on the train
to London. Was up at 3.30am to catch the 5am TRAIN such a silly time for a night owl and not a morning person....... Mind it is a lovely morning should be another HOT day...
On the 7th July we should have had a "Millie" (APQS Long Arm Quilting Machine) competence day.
However this unfortunatley had to be cancelled. Yes it is possible how to use our machine, then once you have your certificate you are then able to Book Hire Time on "Millie" at the Creative Studio to enable you to finish your quilt. It is also possible to create some amazing other projects on this very diverse machine.
Free Motion - Textile Art - using a whole range of Fabrics - Leather- Canvas-Wool- Calico even Neoprene...
Come and find out more and see "Millie" in action at our Open Day 11am - 4pm Hartfield
Talking of Sewing Machines I have really missed not using mine. Mind you the other day for the first time in months I did make a small Crazy Patchwork picture. This all started when I was sorting out a Bag of Scrap Fabric pieces.I re bagged into smaller colour coordinated bags and as nearly always the case. I was inspired by various bits of Fabrics found during the sort out.. So if you are stuck for an idea why not rummage through your STASH and you will be amazed what you will find........
Wishing you as always many hours of Happy Stitching
